Roseville, MN - The Martin Luther College women's soccer team came up short in an away contest at Northwestern under the lights by a final score of
7-0.
Northwestern received a big game from Haley Mersberger, who went for the Hat Trick, scoring all three goals consecutively in the first period to help her team go up 4-0 in the first period.
Megan Kohrt started both periods off with goals for the Eagles, as they outshot the Knights 45-2 (22-1 in shots on goal).
The lone MLC shot on target came from
Rachel Schoeneck and goalkeeper
Maria Vik recorded 15 saves.
MLC (4-11-3, 2-7-2) will finish out the 2024 season with one more road game at North Central. That game will be played on Saturday, November 2, at 3:30 p.m.
