Superior, WI - The Martin Luther college men's tennis squad fell
9-0 on the road to UW-Superior. In the match on Sunday, the Yellowjackets would control each match, but the Knights would once again give it their all on the court.
Eli Stern and
Brian Friesenegger would pose as the biggest threat to the Yellowjackets (3-8) in No. 3 doubles.
In singles competition,
Matthew Koelpin took his No. 3 opponent to a 3-6, 2-6 match, while Stern and
Elijah Schulz each recorded two points each in their respective matches.
Up next for MLC (2-9, 0-3) is a home match with Bethany Lutheran College on Wednesday, April 24. The Knights will look to avenge their 5-4 loss to the Vikings this past Wednesday, as the two schools start up at 3 p.m.
