New Ulm, MN - The MLC men's soccer team fell to Bethany
7-1 in a home UMAC contest on Tuesday afternoon. Bethany got it done from a wide variety of players as seven different Vikings' reached the back of the net.
Bethany scored three goals within the 20 minutes of the opening whistle and entered halftime up 4-0. The Vikings added three more goals in the second period and held a 28-6 edge in total shot attempts (16-2 in shots on goal).
MLC was able to get on the scoreboard in the final moments of the game with
Noah Walta scoring his first career goal in the 74th minute.
MLC will have another conference game on Saturday, October 11, on the road at Minnesota Morris. Start time is planned for 3:30 p.m.
