New Ulm, MN - The MLC men's soccer team squared off with Minnesota Morris on Tuesday for a UMAC contest with the Cougars, but the game was quickly decided as Minnesota Morris scored four goals in the first half before defeating MLC 8-0.
Aaron Mackall scored half of the Cougars' goals, putting four in the back of the net, with every shot he took resulting in a goal. Minnesota Morris doubled up the Knights in total shots, 22-11, but MLC did have some opportunities at the net, shooting off four on target. Freshman
Caleb Pausma led the Knights with two shots on goal, and
Abraham Schlomer got off two shots.
MLC (0-7-1, 0-3) continues its season with a road game at Northwestern on Saturday, September 27, at 2 p.m.
