Buffalo Lake, MN - The MLC men's and women's golf teams performed well at the annual MLC Fall Invitational at Oakdale Golf Club on Saturday. Both MLC squads placed third out of seven teams competing as the men shot a team score of 310, while the women finished in 394 strokes in the Par 72 course.
MLC men
The lowest 18-hole round of the day for the MLC men came via
Benjamin Pearson, who T-9th overall out of nearly 75 golfers.
Aidan Berg also shot very well, shooting in 77 strokes for a T-13th. Meanwhile,
Jordan Otto had a season best score of 78, which put him in a T-19th.
The Knights had one other golfer reach the top 25 for the individual standings with
John Martin T-24th after his round of 81.
MLC women
The Knights had another solid day on the green following their effort at the BLC Invite on Friday.
Myah Loberger shot an 89, to lead the MLC women's team and
Chloe Berg shot a 97, finishing at 15th overall.
Erin Pulice completed her day of golf at 16th overall with a score of 99. The Knights would also have one other golfer in the top 25 as
Samantha Miller shot in 109 strokes for 22nd overall.
The MLC golf teams will have one more meet on the green for the fall season as they gear up for the UMAC Championship on Thursday, October 2- Saturday, October 4. The three-day championship event will be played in Becker, MN, at the Pebble Creek Golf Course.
