St. Paul, MN - Sophomore Benjamin Pearson won the UMAC Men's Golf Athlete of the Week (April 20-26) for his 1st-place performance at the MLC Spring Invitational last Thursday, April 23, at the New Ulm Country Club.

In a meet that hosted all UMAC schools and about 60 golfers competing on the men's side, Pearson finished the Par 70 with a score of 72. Pearson won by four strokes, as the second-place golfer, Julian Bhardwaj from Bethany, shot a 76.
