New Ulm, MN - The MLC women's golf team took on Bethany Lutheran College for the annual Saxony Cup, which was played at the New Ulm Country Club on Thursday. The Knights bested the Vikings by a healthy margin, beating Bethany 408 to 444.

Myah Loberger was atop the leaderboard, finishing the round in 91 strokes (+20), edging out Bethany's Lydia Schmid (92) who came in second.

Chloe Berg shot a score of 97 (+26) for third overall, while Brenna Moore placed fifth with her total of 108 (+37).

With the win, MLC has defeated Bethany for the fourth consecutive season in the Saxony and Katy Cups.

The Knights will be back on the course on Saturday, September 6, at 9:35 a.m. for the Twin Ports Collegiate, which will be hosted by UW-Superior. MLC will square off with fellow conference schools and the tournament will conclude on Sunday.
