Men's Soccer falls to Lakeland 2-0

Box Score Plymouth, WI -  The MLC men's soccer team played its second game of their roadtrip to Wisconsin this weekend when they met Lakeland University for a Sunday afternoon game. The Muskies had a 22-4 advantage in total shots and a 12-2 edge in shots on goal, giving them more scoring opportunities than the Knights as they defeated MLC 2-0.

Both teams were held scoreless up until the second period, when Lakeland cracked the scoring column with a goal from Jordan Troller-Davis in the 56th minute. MLC still had a chance to make it a draw, but Troller-Davis put up an insurance goal with his second of the day late in the 87th minute.

Goalkeeper Nick Russ played all 90 minutes for MLC again and they made 10 stops for the game.

MLC will play on the road again on Thursday, September 11, at Waldorf University at 5 p.m.
