New Ulm, MN - MLC women's tennis earned a
5-2 victory over Bethany Lutheran College on Tuesday. Last week, the Knights also defeated the Vikings 5-2 at their place and in today's match, MLC mixed up the lineup.
Despite Bethany taking the point doubles play by winning two of three games, MLC countered with five wins in singles play to gain the victory.
Britney Prahl took down her adversary 6-3, 6-2, while
Karly Miller played in No. 3 singles, beating her opponent 6-4, 6-4.
In No. 4 singles,
Rebekah Schroeder took it 6-4, 6-0, while the fifth and sixth singles matchups went in MLC's favor due to forfeit.
MLC will host Minnesota Morris on Friday, April 24, at 3 p.m.
