Women's Outdoor Track & Field receives 8 All-UMAC selections

St. Paul, MN - The MLC women's outdoor track and field team received eight All-UMAC selections after its performance at the UMAC Championships this past weekend. MLC  placed second (151 points) in the conference, just behind Crown College (185 points).

All-Conference recognition is given to individuals who finished in first, second, or third place in an individual event and to members of relay teams who finished in first place in a relay event at the UMAC Championship.

The following individuals were named to the All-Conference team, and the events that gave them a spot can be seen below:

Elena Brauer: Javelin
Sarah Felsing: 3000m steeplechase
Jemimah Habben:3000m steeplechase
Grace Hahm: 5000m
Hannah Rodmyre: 100m hurdles, Triple Jump
Madelinn Romsdahl: Shot Put, Discus
Ella Schlei: Discus, High Jump
Mariah Schultz: 400m hurdles

The MLC women were also voted the Team Sportsmanship Award, while Nicole Trapp was MLC's Individual Sportsmanship winner.
