WATERTOWN, Wis. - It looked like the Knights were headed for their first loss of the season on Saturday afternoon.
That was until junior
Caleb Pausma fired a shot into the top of the goal with just nine seconds left to pull MLC even with Maranatha Baptist.
It is the second time in the opening week the Knights have come back from a 1-0 deficit to earn either a draw or a win.
The shot was MLC's 19th of the match and the ninth on target in what was an evenly played match.
MLC fell behind in the 18th minute when Maranatha got a goal from Will Alsup.
The Knights remained in the match thanks to another good performance in the goal from
Nicholas Russ, who made nine saves.
