ST. BONIFACIUS, Minn. - The Martin Luther College women's basketball dominated Crown in a 73-30 win Friday.
The Knights held the Storm to 18.5 percent shooting from the field, and only 16 points in the first three quarters.Â
MLC jumped on top from the start, leading 16-7 after the first period, and upping that lead to 35-11 at the half and 51-16 after three quarters.
Jade St. Germaine led MLC with a game-high 21 points to go with eight rebounds and three blocks. St. Germaine shot 7-17 from the field, and finished with six offensive rebounds, helping the Knights to a 52-44 rebounding edge for the game.
Faith Schroeder was the only other MLC player in double figures with 11 points to go with a team-best nine rebounds.

Sarah Dewey and Schoof finished with two steals apiece.
The Knights shot 36.8 percent from the field, and also dominated at the charity stripe, outscoring the Storm 21-9 at the free throw line.
MLC improved to 1-6 overall and 1-1 in UMAC play with the win. Crown fell to 0-7 on the season and 0-2 in league games in defeat.
The Knights will return to action tomorrow (Saturday, December 10) when they travel to Minnesota Morris for a game scheduled to tip off at 3 p.m.
