ST. BONIFACIUS, Minn. - The Martin Luther College volleyball team rolled to a 3-0 sweep at Crown by the scores of 25-12, 25-16 and 25-18 on Tuesday.
The Knights recorded their best match of the season on the attack with a final attack percentage of .398, topping their previous season-best efficiency mark of .307 from their match at Northland on September 23.
Grace Schultz led the way with 10 kills and hit .643.
Kira Grev added nine kills, eight digs and a team-best three blocks. She now is only 12 digs away from becoming the third player in program history with 1,000 career kills and digs.
Jenna Miller,
Moriah Hackbarth and
Jade St. Germaine each finished with five kills.
Hailey Stade led the team with 16 assists, while
Taylor Weber recorded 10 digs to lead MLC.
The Knights improved to 13-11 overall and 8-3 in UMAC play with the win. Crown fell to 2-20 on the season and 1-12 in league play in defeat.
MLC will return to action on Friday, October 13, when it travels to Carleton for a non-conference match scheduled to start at 7 p.m.
