NORTHFIELD, Minn. - The Martin Luther College volleyball team lost its non-conference match at Carleton 3-0 on Friday by the scores of 25-16, 25-17 and 25-17.
Carleton hit a blistering .390 for the match while holding MLC to an attack efficiency of .124 on the attack.
Moriah Hackbarth finished atop the MLC stat sheet with eight kills.
Kira Grev added six kills to go with seven digs, leaving her five short of 1,000 digs for her career.
Hailey Stade led MLC with 16 assists, while
Emily Byhardt finished with a team-best 11 digs.
Rylee Weisensel and
Ruth Buchholz each recorded three blocks for MLC.
MLC fell to 13-12 on the season in defeat, while Carleton improved to 7-10 with the win.
The Knights will return to action tomorrow (Saturday, October 14, when they travel to UW-Superior for a match scheduled to start at 1 p.m.
