NEW ULM, Minn. - The Martin Luther College men's tennis team lost its match against St. Scholastica by the final of 8-1 on Friday.

Ethan Schultz secured the team's lone point in his number six singles match with a three-set win by the scores of 6-3, 5-7, 1-0 (10-8).Â
The Saints controlled the other matches, however, winning five of six in singles after sweeping the three doubles matches by the scores of 8-0, 8-1 and 8-5.
MLC fell to 2-8 overall and 1-5 in UMAC play in defeat. CSS improved its record to 17-1 on the season and 7-0 in conference action with the win.
The Knights will return to action tomorrow (Saturday, April 22) when they travel to Northwestern for a match scheduled to start at 9:30 a.m.
