ST. PAUL - The Martin Luther College volleyball team lost 3-0 at St. Catherine on Wednesday by the scores of 25-12, 25-13 and 25-14.
The Knights were unable to slow the Wildcats on the attack all night, as SCU hit .442 and recorded 40 kills against only six errors for the match.
MLC was unable to keep up on the other side hitting .067 for the match and committing 19 errors.
Jade St. Germaine led MLC with eight kills.
Hailey Stade recorded a team-best 13 assists.
MLC fell to 2-3 on the season following the loss. SCU improved to 3-2 with the win.
MLC will return to action on Friday, September 9, when they begin the two-day tournament at UW-Oshkosh. The Knights' first match is scheduled for 3:30 p.m. against Lawrence.Â
