NEW ULM, Minn. - The Martin Luther College volleyball team lost its home finale 3-0 (25-15, 25-10, 25-15) to Northwestern-St. Paul on Saturday.

The Eagles hit .371 for the match and committed only seven attack errors in the match. The Knights started slow, but finished with an attack efficiency of .200.

Kelsey Birschbach finished with one of her best matches of the season with a team-best 12 kills while hitting .345. 

Kate Aswege led MLC with 13 digs, while Camryn Biebert finished with 11 assists.

MLC fell to 4-22 overall and 2-5 in UMAC play in defeat. UNW improved to 20-7 on the season and 6-1 in league play with the win.

The Knights will return to action on Wednesday, October 30, when they play at Crown College in the season finale.
