The MLC Knights built an early lead and then held off Lake Forest College 79-72, on the road at Lake Forest, Ill,  on Saturday. The Knights once again spread their scoring with four Knights in double figures: Lydia Feidt and Lauren Paulsen each with 19, Grace Keiselhorst with 10, and Kortney Behnke with 10. The Knights shot 44.6% for the game, 50% from 3-pt. range.

Coach Dan Gawrisch commented: " The fast and physical start to the game set us up for success. Our defense, rebounding and depth helped us overcome some trouble with turning the ball over in the 3rd quarter. We just have to play within ourselves, especially with a lead, make the easy pass and keep the ball moving. I very pleased with our effort in back to back road games and ability to focus on the next play and get momentum back, which is not easy to do for visiting teams."
