Plymouth, WI - The
MLC Knights took on the Lakeland Muskies on Tuesday night in front of 120 fans at Woltzen Gymnasium. The two squads faced off last year in a 79-73 loss by the Knights, but this time around 3-point shooting proved to be the difference as Lakeland created separation from the beginning, beating MLC
104-75.
The Muskies came out firing from perimeter, shooting 11-of-25 from 3-point territory in the first half. Lakeland would continue that prolific outside shooting in the second half, led by
Cam Jaeger, who scored 28 points on 6-of-9 behind the arc. MLC would struggle to get much going on their perimeter shooting (6-of-22), but forward
Seth Veers gave another hard working performance, leading the Knights with 18 points and 5 rebounds, finding much success near the basket.
MLC (0-6, 0-0) will return back home for their next contest, hosting Concordia College (Minn.) on Monday, November 28.
