New Ulm, MN - The
MLC Men's basketball team played Concordia Moorhead on Monday night following an exciting one point victory from the Women's team. The Men gave another great effort on both ends of the court, but would fall short and lose to the Cobbers
92-62. Concordia Moorhead had a clear game plan of shooting beyond the 3-point line from the opening tip. The Cobbers would shoot 53.8 percent from behind the arc, with a majority of those shots coming in transition. They also made a concerted effort to drive towards the bucket and be aggressive in transition within the key, ultimately rewarding them with free throw attempts, shooting 11-of-11 from the charity stripe.

Thomas Balge played tough throughout out the contest, driving to the basket and pulling up when the defense gave them space. Blumer finished the night with 13 points, while Balge chipped in with 12 points. The Cobbers got a balanced scoring effort from their squad, having five players score in double figures.
Jackson Jangula led the way for Concordia Moordhead scoring 15 points.
