The Knights lost to the Buena Vista Beavers in four sets on Saturday, September 17, in Storm Lake, Iowa, with the scores of 11-25, 23-25, 25-23, 18-25.

The Knights started off with a slow start in the first set losing 11-25. However, the Knights did not let the Beavers walk away easily with the second set. With a new focus, the Knights put up a strong fight in the second set. However, the Knights fell to the Beavers with a 23-25 score. The Knights led this match with twelve kills, five of them from Lydia Feidt, nine assists from Kylie Wolf, and six digs from Hannah Willems.

The third set was another close set with the Knights rallying back and ending on top to win 25-23. The leaders for this match with kills were Grace Kieselhorst with eight, nine assists from Kylie Wolf, and seven digs from Naomi Bridgemen. The Knights' momentum did not stop the Beavers from coming back in the fourth set to take the match, 25-18.

The Knights overall record is 4-8. MLC will play on Tuesday at Martin Luther College at 7 p.m. against Bethany Luther College.
