After a tough loss on Friday, the Knights came ready to play on Saturday against Northland, crushing them with a score of 25-16, 25-18, and 25-23.
The Knights came out with fire and established dominance against Northland in the first set with a score of 25-16. With thirteen total kills in the match, Ella Schlei led with four and Lydia Feidt with three attacks. With a team total hitting percentage of 76%, the Knights easily swept the game.
The Knights kept the ball rolling by winning next two sets,  25-18 and a close game of 25-23. However, the Knights prevailed and won in a clean sweep of three sets.
The Knight had a total of forty-nine digs, fourteen of them coming from Lauren Paulsen. Paulsen was also the leader of the match with seven of MLC's thirty-five kills. Lydia Feidt also had an outstanding match hitting .625 from the attacking line.
The Knights move up their record with a 5-10 record. The Knights are back in action on Tuesday, September 27 at 7 p.m. against North Central at Martin Luther College.
