La Crosse, WI - The Martin Luther College men's cross country team returned to action with a 12 p.m. 8K race at the Drews/Neubauer Invite, hosted by UW-La Crosse.
The men were one of 27 schools competing in the invite, finishing
21st with 641 points and had an average 8K time of 28:59.
UW-La Crosse took first with 32 points, while Paradise Valley (113) and MSOE (114) rounded out the top three.
Camden Sulzle placed 101st out of 188 runners, with a mark of 27:56.3, giving the senior a season-best time in the 8K.
The tandem of
Micah Schibbelhut and
Caleb Lash crossed the finish line next for the Knights, with Schibbelhut earning 116th overall (28:15.7) and Lash taking 117th (28:16.7).
Fellow senior
Joshua Zander finished in 146th with a time of 29:33.6, while
Ethan Enseln took 161st, clocking in at 30:54.0.

The men's cross country squad will have a couple of weeks off to prepare for the UMAC Championships that will occur on Saturday, October 28. The race is scheduled for 11 a.m.
