Northfield, MN - The Martin Luther College men's country team had a solid performance in the St. Olaf Invitational on Saturday morning and finished fifth out of eleven teams in the event with 163 points.
The men beat out the other two UMAC schools in Bethany and Crown in the race, as the host school (St. Olaf) earned first as a team with 23 points. UW-Eau Claire (57 points) and MSOE (62 points) rounded out the top three.
The top MLC finisher was
Camden Sulzle who ran the 8K with a time of 28:21.9, which put him at 61st out of 119 runners, while
Josh Zander would take 63rd, with his time of 28:26.2.
Micah Schibbelhut (28:47.7) and
Caleb Lash (28:48.5) took 72nd and 73rd respectively for the Knights, while
Elijah Hutchinson wasn't too far behind his teammates, taking 79th with a mark of 29:20.00.
