Platteville, WI - The Martin Luther College men's cross country squad competed in their fourth event of the season at the Gender Equity Meet hosted by UW-Platteville.
The men took
ninth out of 10 participating schools in the meet with 232 points. UW-Oshkosh took first (38), followed by the host school UW-Platteville (48 points) and Ripon College (85).
Joshua Zander finished the 8000 meter run with a time of 27:55, which was good enough for 56th place out of 160 runners overall. Teammates
Caleb Lash and
Camden Sulzle were neck and neck in the run and Lash edged out Sulzle by .6 seconds. Lash finished 62nd and had a time of 28:04.1, while Sulzle took 63rd and had a mark of 28:04.7.
Micah Schibbelhut claimed the fourth best time for the Knights with a time of 28:40.2, putting him at 76th in the event.
