River Falls, WI - The Martin Luther College men's cross country team participated in the River Town Twilight hosted by UW-River Falls for their second meet of the 2023 season. The men previously ran in the Augustana Twilight last week, where they went up against tough competition. On Friday night, MLC was one of seven schools competing and placed fifth with a team score of 134. The top three schools consisted of UW-Whitewater (18), UW-Stout (55), and Augsburg (99).
In the individual ranks, the top finisher for the Knights was from
Joshua Zander, who placed 40th in the 8K out of 90 runners with a time of 28:08.7. The other top 50 finish came from
Camden Sulzle who earned 49th overall, who had a time of 28:48.5.
Caleb Lash was next in line to finish for the men, clocking in at 29:09.5, giving him the 54th spot in the race.

MLC men's cross country will return to action next Saturday, September 16, when they appear in a meet hosted by St. Olaf. The event is scheduled to begin at 10 a.m.
