Ashland, WI - The Martin Luther College volleyball team swept the Northland Lumberjills 
3-0 in an away contest on Friday night by a final score of 25-18, 25-16, 25-13.
The match was never in doubt as the Knights cruised in each set with the closest margin being in the first set. MLC had 28 kills compared to just 13 for the Lumberjills. 
Grace Kieselhorst led MLC in kills (8) and aces (5), while also coming in second on the team in assists (8). 
Ella Walz paced the Knights in assists with 11 and 
Anna Kieselhorst racked up 16 digs for MLC.
MLC secured a season-best 18 aces as a team and used that as a big advantage in their victory over Northland. 
With the win, MLC improves to 6-14 overall, 3-4 UMAC and will be back at it with another conference matchup against UW-Superior at 1 p.m. on Saturday.
