St. Paul, MN - The Martin Luther College men's cross country team brought in three All-UMAC selections on Monday. The conference officially announced the All-Conference teams and the top 16 runners in the men's 8K race at the UMAC Championship are recognized.

The Knights came in second on Saturday behind UW-Superior and senior Micah Schibbelhut wrapped up his cross country career at MLC with a First Team honor after finishing seventh overall out of 66 runners with a time of 27:18.0. Schibbelhut previously took Second Team All-UMAC in 2022 and 2023.

Eliott Heiderich placed ninth overall and earned a Second Team selection for his mark of 27:36.6 to finish out his freshman season. 

Another MLC freshman reached the Second Team, with Daniel Ertman taking 16th overall. Ertman clocked in at 28:34.4.

The Knights were also given the Team Sportsmanship Award and Schibbelhut was the MLC recipient for the Individual award.
