Sioux Falls, SD - The MLC men's and women's cross country teams debuted their 2025 season at the Augustana Twilight on Friday evening.
Both teams competed against numerous Division II and III schools, with
Jemimah Habben leading the way for the women's side in the 5K, coming at 62nd overall (19:03.23).
Nicole Trapp was the next MLC runner to cross the finish line, placing 225th overall with a time of 21:05.67.
The top finishers for the MLC men came via freshman
Henry Schapekahm in the 4-mile run, with a mark of 22:10.80 for 261st overall.
Alex Enslen (23:11.71)Â and
Daniel Ertman (23:12.98) took 323rd and 324th respectively.
MLC cross country will be back at it next weekend on Friday, September 12, at 6.p.m. when they travel to UW-River Falls for a meet.
