Buffalo Lake, MN - The Knights' golf team hosted the MLC Fall Invitational on Saturday and had a good showing as the men came in second (311 strokes) and the women (407 strokes)Â finished in fifth place in the team rankings. The Invitational featured all eight UMAC schools and the course was a Par 72.
Benjamin Pearson finished second overall after going for par (72) at Oakdale Golf Club. The freshman had another impressive performance following his score of 73 on Friday. The Knights would also rack up a few more top-15 finishes as
Noah Walta carded a 79 (T-12th), while
John Martin and
Aidan Berg tied at 15th overall after shooting in 80 strokes.
Cooper Jensen finished (20th, 82 strokes) and
Luke Latzke took T-26th with his score of 86.
Brooke Parkhurst finished in 93 strokes which was good for 11th place.
Olivia Klabunde shot a 98, giving her a T-18th and
Myah Loberger scored a 104 (T-23rd)
MLC golf finishes up its fall season this coming weekend Oct. 3-5 at the UMAC Championships in Becker, MN.
