Winthrop, MN - The MLC women's cross country team earned third at the UMAC Championships. The Knights had previously won the UMAC title in 2021 and 2022 and took third last year in 2024. On Saturday, MLC scored 74 points behind Northwestern in first (30) and Crown (45) in second.
Jemimah Habben was the lead individual runner for the Knights in the 6K event (6000m). Habben performed with a season PR time of 23:33.2, which put her third overall out of over 60 runners.
Grace Hahm crossed the finish line next for the Knights and came in with a time of 24:50.4 for 12th overall.
Aubrey Bode took 17th (25:23.9) and
Carys Wendland finished 20th (26:03.0) to give MLC a couple more finishes within the top 20 of the race.
Nicole Trapp was just outside the top 20 mark with a spot in 23rd (26:26.3), while
Emma Kvidt placed 27th (26:41.5).
