St. Paul, MN - The 2025 UMAC women's soccer All-Conference teams were announced officially on Tuesday, and the MLC Knights received
five awards.
MLC finished its season with seven wins, which were the most wins in a single season for the Knights since the 2019 season, when they won eight contests. The five players who were given honors were
Ella Ristow (First Team),
Katie Schoeneck (Second Team),
Rachel Schoeneck (Second Team),
Priscilla Boehm (Honorable Mention), and
Ava Walz (Honorable Mention).
Ristow was voted Second Team last season as a freshman as a defender, while fellow defender Walz earned a spot in her first season. Both players were instrumental in the Knights' allowing 13 fewer goals than a season ago.
For a third consecutive season,
Katie Schoeneck was given Second Team All-UMAC accolades. In just 13 games played, the junior tied for the team lead in goals (7) and points (15), while also pacing the Knights in shots on goal (26). Her sister, Rachel, also tied for the most goals and points with 7 and 15, respectively, along with freshman
Anna Kramer.
As a sophomore and junior,
Rachel Schoeneck was selected Honorable Mention.
Boehm's Honorable Mention selection came after the forward had three goals and seven assists, which was first on the squad with
Naomi Foley (7).
The MLC team was also given the Team Sportsmanship Award, while
Karissa Holdcroft was the MLC individual for the Sportsmanship award.
