New Ulm, MN - The MLC men's basketball team took on Hamline University for the second game of the Knights' basketball doubleheader. MLC was up against an athletic and cohesive unit as Hamline defeated the Knights 90-49.

The Pipers held MLC to season lows in points (49) and field goal percentage (36.4), and got out into transition frequently. Hamline scored 39 points off turnovers and wanted to run on a majority of offensive possessions, once they obtained the rebound.

Hamline shot 55 percent from the floor and 56 percent from beyond the arc and had four players reach double figures.

Hamline's relentless pressure was consistent all game long, cutting off driving lanes and making the Knights' shot attempts difficult. MLC was held to just two points, seven minutes into the game.

Luke Fix led the Knights with nine points, while Ethan Kjenstad and Adam Loberger each added eight points.

MLC will go on the road for its next game, taking on Maranatha Baptist on Friday, November 21, at 4:30 p.m.
