St. Paul, MN - The UMAC Athletes of the Week (December 1-7) were officially announced on Tuesday, and forward
Adam Loberger was voted as the Men's Basketball Player of the Week.
Loberger averaged 22 ppg, 9.7 rpg, and shot 19-21 (90 percent) from the charity stripe across three contests this past week for MLC. The Knights went 2-1 in those games, with a 65-61 victory over Trinity Bible College (North Dakota) on Wednesday and an 85-68 win over Maranatha Baptist on Saturday. The sophomore notched a double-double in both of MLC's wins.
This is the second time that Loberger has been voted the top UMAC men's basketball player of the week this season.
MLC and Loberger will be on the court again on Saturday, December 13, when they host Bethel University at 4 p.m.
