St. Paul, MN - On Tuesday,
Britney Prahl was named Second Team All-UMAC for Women's tennis. Last year, Prahl was voted to the First Team after playing as the Knights' No. 1 singles player. This year, Prahl reprised the same role as MLC's No. 1 player and went 6-8 overall in her singles decisions, putting her fourth in the conference (North and South division) in singles wins.
Prahl and
Abigail Schewe also teamed up to go 6-2 in No. 1 doubles play this season. Prahl and her teammates helped MLC reach seven wins this season, which were the most for women's tennis since the 2018 season, when the Knights also won seven matches.
Emily Gronholz represented MLC women's tennis on the All-Sportsmanship team, while
Noah Koelpin was named to the All-Sportsmanship squad for MLC men's tennis.
