Becker, MN - The MLC men's and women's golf teams teed off for the annual UMAC Preview hosted by the conference at Pebble Creek golf course. Both MLC squads placed fourth out of seven schools in the competition, with the men finishing in 315 strokes (6 behind Bethany) and the women completing their combined 18 holes in 429 strokes.
The lowest MLC men's round came from
Benjamin Pearson, who shot a score of 74 (+2) in the Par 72. As a result, the sophomore placed T-6th, while
John Martin followed behind in 11th place, after he completed 18 holes in 76 strokes.
Adam Loberger shot an 82, which put him in a T-29th.
The MLC women were led by
Myah Loberger, who finished in 95 strokes for 17th overall. The next lowest came via
Chloe Berg, who took 25th overall after shooting in 107 strokes.
MLC golf will compete in the Knights Classic on Tuesday, September 16, at 11 a.m. at the Dacotah Ridge golf course in Morton, MN.
