Hutchinson, MN - The MLC men's and women's golf teams played at the Bethany Lutheran Invite on Friday at Crow River Golf Course in Hutchinson. The MLC women had its best team score over the past few seasons by a good margin, finishing in 387 strokes. As a result, the women placed third out of six UMAC schools in the competition. Meanwhile, the men shot in 327 strokes, which put them seventh in the team standings.
Women
Myah Loberger shot a 91, which placed 10th out of over 30 golfers in the individual standings.
Chloe Berg was right beside her in 12th overall after her score of 95.
Erin Pulice finished in 101 strokes for 19th overall.
Men
Cooper Jensen and
John Martin led the MLC men and had some of their better scores of the season. Jensen finished T-6th with his score of 74 and Martin placed T-9th finishing his 18 holes in 75 strokes on the green out of over 60 golfers competing.
Benjamin Pearson shot an 81, putting him in a T-23rd.
MLC golf will be back at it today for the MLC Fall Invitational, where all UMAC schools will be squaring off.
