St. Paul, MN -
Adam Loberger was announced as the UMAC Men's Basketball Player of the Week (2/9-2/15) and was one of four MLC student-athletes to achieve the feat this week, along with
Wilhelmina Wenz, R.J. Perry, and Gideon Heins.
Loberger averaged 30.5 ppg and shot 52 percent from the floor in two conference games this past week. The sophomore also hit the 1,000-point milestone in a 77-66 win at Crown on Wednesday, scoring 35 points, while leading the Knights in assists (4) and steals (2).
Loberger put up 26 points in a loss to Minnesota Morris on Saturday and collected nine rebounds.Â
Loberger was previously named UMAC Men's Basketball Player of the Week back in the beginning of December this season.
The Knights will be in action again on Wednesday, February 18 at 7:15 p.m. against North Central. With a win, MLC would have a chance at a UMAC Tournament appearance.
