St. Paul, MN - The MLC men's outdoor track and field team racked up 15 All-UMAC selections on Wednesday. The Knights put on a show this weekend at the UMAC Outdoor Championships, taking
first place by over 50 points, totaling
286.5 points over second-place finisher, UW-Superior, who scored 233.5. For the second consecutive season and in school history, the MLC men claim the top prize.
All-Conference recognition is given to individuals who finished in first, second, or third place in an individual event and to members of relay teams who finished in first place in a relay event at the UMAC Championship.
Jeremiah Stanton earned the Top Scoring Athlete of the Meet award. He scored 44.5 points as he won the 400m hurdles, long jump, and triple jump, placed third in the 110m hurdles, took fourth in the high jump, and was on the second-place 4x100 and 4x400m relay teams this past weekend.
R.J. Perry won the Field Athlete of the Meet award. Perry won the discus throw and the shot put and took second in the hammer throw at the UMAC Championships. His shot put (16.22m) set a new UMAC Championships record.
The MLC men's coaching staff was also given the Coaching Staff of the Year award after winning first place at the UMAC Championships.

Martin Raasch: Long Jump
Dan Reinke: Discus
Austin Rubendall: Javelin
Ryan Schmidt: High Jump
Jeremiah Stanton: 400m hurdles, long jump, triple jump, 110m hurdles
Donovin Wittenberg: 400m
Stephen Wietzke: 100m, 200m
MLC was also given the Team Sportsmanship Award along with Northwestern. Perry was the MLC Individual Sportsmanship award winner.
