STORM LAKE, Iowa - MLC volleyball earned its first win of the season in its first match of the Central Bank Triangular at Buena Vista on Saturday.

The Knights did not have dominant offensive numbers in the win, but found a variety of ways to score.
They had 12 service aces and five blocks to go along with 29 kills.
Kenzie Loberger led the team in kills with seven and was second on the team in digs with nine and aces with three.
Ella Walz had a team-high 12 assists and added five kills.
Defensively,
Hannah Rodmyre was dominant at the net, recording four blocks.
Anna Kieselhorst had 18 digs.
Buena Vista 3, MLC 0
MLC failed to reach the .100 mark in any of the three sets against the hosting Beavers as offense was a struggle.
The Knights found just 19 kills, three blocks and a single ace in the dominating BVU win.
Loberger was a bright spot once again, notching eight kills and hitting .231.
Kourtney Zech had 10 assists.
