Anna Kieselhorst crossed the 1,000-kill plateau at the University of Minnesota-Morris quadrangular this weekend.
The senior defensive specialist racked up 41 digs over the course of three matches, including 12 on Saturday afternoon vs. Concordia (Minn.).
The Cobbers swept the Knights, which once again struggled late in sets. MLC was tied with Concordia 22-22 in the first set before the Cobbers scored three-straight to win it. Similarly, in the second set, the Knights were within 22-20 before falling.
Kenzie Loberger led MLC's offense for the third-straight match, notching nine kills. She also led the team with two aces and 12 digs.
Other standouts were setter
Kourtney Zech with 13 assists and
Greta Nolte with five kills.
