ST. PETER, Minn. - The Martin Luther College women's tennis team lost 9-0 to St. Scholastica at the Swanson Tennis Center on Friday night.

MLC started the match with three defeats in doubles, with the Saints winning those matches by the scores of 8-0, 8-0 and 8-2.

In singles play, CSS was able to win all six matches in straight sets.

MLC fell to 1-5 overall and 1-1 in UMAC play following the loss. CSS improved its record to 8-5 this season, and 3-0 in league play, after the win.

The Knights will return to action on Friday, April 8, when they host Bemidji State in a match scheduled to start at 3 p.m.
