ST. PAUL - The Martin Luther College men's tennis team lost 9-0 at Macalester on Saturday in the team's second match of the season.

The Scots opened the match with three wins in doubles competition by the scores of 8-2, 8-2 and 8-0.

In singles, Macalester won all six matches in straight sets.

The Knights fell to 0-2 on the season with the loss, while the Scots opened their season 1-0 following the win.

MLC will return to action on Sunday, February 26, when it plays Simpson College. That match is scheduled for 8:30 a.m. in Owatonna, Minn.
