Knights Fall 7-2 to BLC

RESULTS

NEW ULM, Minn. - The Martin Luther College men's tennis team lost its match against Bethany Lutheran by the final score of 7-2 on Tuesday.

The Knights earned one point in doubles as the number three team of Justin Steinke and Ethan Schultz won their match 8-0. The Vikings took the other two doubles matches by the scores of 8-1 and 8-2.

In singles, Josh Koelpin earned the lone MLC point with a 6-4, 6-3 win in the number four match.

MLC fell to 2-6 overall and 1-3 in UMAC play in defeat. BLC improved to 7-10 on the season and 2-2 in UMAC play with the win.

The Knights and Vikings will see each other again on April 19 when they play at BLC.
