NEW ULM, Minn. - The Martin Luther College women's tennis team lost 9-0 against St. Scholastica in its final home match of the season on Friday.

The Saints started strong, sweeping the three doubles matches by the scores of 8-6, 8-1 and 8-1. 

CSS complete the sweep by taking all six singles matches in straight sets.

MLC fell to 5-7 overall and 5-3 in UMAC play following the loss. CSS improved its record to 15-5 on the season and 8-1 in league play with the win.

The Knights will return to action tomorrow (Saturday, April 22) when they travel to Northwestern for a traingular against UNW and UW-Eau Claire. The match against Northwestern is scheduled to start at 9:30 a.m., with the second match against UWEC set to start shortly after the end of the first match.
