MORRIS, Minn. - The Martin Luther College women's tennis team closed the regular season with a 9-0 win at University of Minnesota Morris on Friday.

The Knights opened the match with a 3-0 sweep in doubles, winning by the scores of 8-2, 8-4 and 8-3.

In singles, Anna Hemmelman, Rachel Riediger, Sophia Birner, Morgan Shevey and Jessica Stibb each won in straight sets, while Ella Loersch won her number four singles match in three sets.

The Knights closed the regular season with a record of 6-9 overall and 6-4 in UMAC play, good for third in the final UMAC standings. UMM fell to 1-13 overall and 1-8 in UMAC play in defeat.
