NEW ULM, Minn. - The Martin Luther College women's tennis team lost 9-0 against Northwestern (Minn.) on Saturday.

The Eagles started the match winning all three doubles matches by the scores of 8-1, 8-3 and 8-3.

In singles, UNW was able to win each match in straight sets.

MLC fell to 3-6 on the season and 3-2 in UMAC play in defeat. UNW improved to 15-4 overall and 4-1 in conference play with the win.

The Knights will return to action on Tuesday, April 11, when they host Bethany Lutheran in a match scheduled to start at 3 p.m.
