RESULTS

MINNEAPOLIS - The Martin Luther College women's tennis team lost its second match of the season to St. Catherine University 9-0 on Saturday at Baseline Tennis Center. 

The Knights opened the match with three defeats in doubles by the scores of 1-8, 0-8 and 1-8. 

In singles, sophomore Anna Hemmelman battled in the number one spot but lost in straight sets 2-6 and 5-7. The other five players in the line-up also lost their matches in straight sets to give the Wildcats the sweep.

MLC fell to 0-2 on the season in defeat. The Wildcats improved to 1-0 with the win.

The Knights will return to action on Saturday, February 10, when they play Bethany Lutheran College in a non-conference match at Lifetime Fitness Center in Lakeville, Minn.
