Box Score 2 The Martin Luther College men's tennis team finished conference play with a doubleheader split. The Knights lost the opener 7-2 at home against UW-Superior, but closed the day with a 9-0 sweep of Crown College at Lifetime Fitness Center in Lakeville, Minn.

RESULTS)
NEW ULM, Minn. - MLC opened the day with a  7-2 defeat against UW-Superior.
The Knights battled in doubles play, but dropped all three matches by the scores of 8-4, 8-6 and 8-6.
In singles,
Joel Koelpin came from behind to win his number four match in three sets by the scores of 3-6, 6-2, 1-0 (10-8), and
Nicolas Gartner won his number five singles match in straight sets 6-4, 6-3.

RESULTS)
LAKEVILLE, Minn. - The Knights finished the day with a 9-0 sweep of Crown at Lifetime Fitness Center.
The Knights dominated the doubles matches, winning all three by the scores of 8-2, 8-1 and 8-0.
In singles play,
Justin Steinke,
Ethan Schultz,
Josh Koelpin, Gartner,
Josh Schroeder and
Caleb Koelpin each won in straight sets.
MLC moved to 5-8 on the season and 3-4 in UMAC play following the split.
The Knights will close the season with a match at Concordia-Moorhead on Saturday, April 28.
