Box Score MINNEAPOLIS - The Martin Luther College women's tennis team lost its non-conference match to Hamline 9-0 at Baseline Tennis Center on Saturday.

The Knights fell behind early as the Pipers took al three doubles matches by the scores of 8-2, 8-2 and 8-4.

In singles play, Hamline took swept all six matches in straight sets. Morgan Shevey battled in number two singles to a 6-3, 7-5 defeat, while Anna Hemmelman also fell in straight sets 6-3, 6-1.

MLC fell to 1-5 on the season in defeat, while the Pipers improved to 3-2 with the win.

The Knights will return to action on Wednesday, February 27, when they open UMAC play with a match against North Central University at Lifetime Fitness Center in Lakeville, Minn. That match is scheduled to get underway at 10:30 a.m.
